Los Sueños Dos, Playa Tamarindo

From Villa Real, come all the way into Tamarindo, past the Diria hotel and turn left where the paved road splits. Follow the paved road past Sharky’s on the right and continue STRAIGHT — Do not veer to the right towards Playa Langosta. If you pass Pura Vida Mini Super on your left, trun around at the next street.
You will pass Banco Nacional on your left and Botella de Leche Hostel on your right before you get to your turn. Turn right at the first street past Botella de Leche.
Mariposa is first complex on your right, followed by Los Sueños Dos.
You may park on the street or in the parking spots adjacent. Please do not block the parking spots or the front entrance. There is additional parking on the next street to the right.

Villa Verde Dos, Playa Tamarindo

From Villa Real, come all the way into Tamarindo, turn left where the paved road splits just past the Diria Hotel, following signs to Playa Langosta. You will pass Sharky’s on the right and just past at Pacific Park, veer right towards Playa Langosta.
In approximately 200 meters there is a beach access road on your right and a street on your left (currently La Boca Restaurant on the left corner). Turn left at that intersection. If you get to Langosta Beach Resort on your right, you have gone too far.
Drive away from the beach for 2 streets and you will see 3 story beige condos on your left. That is Villa Verde Uno. Turn left there. Go approximately 150 metres the 4 story green buildings on your left. That is Villa Verde Dos. You may park on the street or in the parking spots adjacent. Please do not block the parking spots, the front entrance, or the motorcycle parking.

Villas Guapinol, Playa Langosta

To get to Villas Guapinol, you will continue to take the paved road from Playa Tamarindo to Playa Langosta. There is a small map with the listing as well.
When arriving in Tamarindo, follow the signs directing to Playa Langosta and use the tall white building, Pacific Park, to know where to turn. This turn is for Calle Cardinal and you will follow the road for approximately 1 km.
After about 500 meters, you will pass Captain Suizos on the right. Continue for another 500 meters to a split in the road. You will need to turn left here. It is a little awkward with the way they have paved it, but you can go left. This is Av. España.
Villas Guapinol is on Av. España in 350 meters on your right. You can park in the corresponding gated driveway. If you have a vehicle, the lock code will be provided to you.

Pueblo del Mar, Playa Tamarindo

From Villa Real, come all the way into Tamarindo, past the Diria hotel and turn left where the paved road splits. Follow the paved road past Sharky’s on the right and continue STRAIGHT — Do not veer to the right towards Playa Langosta. If you pass Pura Vida Mini Super on your left, trun around at the next street.
As soon as you pass Banco Nacional on your left you will make the next right. Botella de Leche Hostel is on that corner. Turn right on the first street and Pueblo del Mar main entrance is just on your left before the top of the street.
You may park in the parking spots at the front entrance or turn left at the top of the street and there is more parking adjacetn to the complex. Please do not block the parking spots or the gates.

From Liberia to Tamarindo

Upon leaving the Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) you make a right (heading away from Liberia and towards Santa Cruz). This is heading South on Rt. 21. Continue South past Filidelfia through Comunidad to Belén. There is a park with a bull statue and then a SuperCompro grocery store on the right in Belen before your turn. Just past that, there is an intersection with a commercial strip and gas station on the Southwest corner and a lot of signs indicating to turn right for Tamarindo, Langosta, Huacas, Brasilito and other towns. Turn Right and continue to follow signs to Flamingo, Huacas and Tamarindo. It is one road to a “T” where you will turn left (to the right is dirt) and then stay on that same paved road all the way into Huacas.
In Huacas there is a “Y” intersection and you turn left for Villareal. If you get to the right turn for Flamingo, you have gone too farand will need to turn around.
In Villa Real, you will have a sharp right to Tamarindo and Langosta. There are a bunch of signs on the corner for car rentals etc. Take that right and follow the paved road all the way in past the estuary and into the town centre.

From San Jose to Tamarindo

Take Route 27, Not 1 (The Pan-Am), out of San Jose – it is much faster. There are tolls on 27, so have some US$1 bills available.
Follow 27 all the way to Puntarenas, passing Caldera. Drive through Puntarenas in the direction of Liberia, following the signs to Hwy 1. You will need to go under a bridge and do a full circle on the on ramp.
Take Route 1 to Limonal and turn left onto 18 towards Mansion and Nicoya. Drive to the very end of 18 and turn right towards Nicoya. Pass Nicoya and when you get to Santa Cruz, immediately past the MaxiPali on the left you will go over a small bridge – make your immediate sharp left towards Villa Real and Tamarindo on 160/152. Go all the way to Villa Real and make a sharp left at the T intersection towards Tamarindo.
ALTERNATE: Continue on Route 1 PAST Limonal and continue to Liberia. Follow directions from Liberia.
